Everyone: ensure that you have completed all of the steps in Assignment 7. Ask your neighbour to review your page with you and to give you suggestions to make your page and your Winnipeg page more exciting!! After completing these two pages, explore xtranormal.com -
Create an xtranormal movie. Go to xtranormal.com, create an account and choose your Set, Actor(s), Sound, and prepare a Story. DO NOT publish your movie as that uses up your Xtranormal Points! You get limited Xtranormal points for a free account but they don't charge until you hit Publish--so wait with that until later--I will review with you the criteria for your xtranormal movie for the Wiki Project.

Chris Bryer: please upload the Prezi for Clarence first. This needs to be done at the beginning of the period.
Everyone: go to each page of the Charles Sinclair student pages and check that you have asked one question of each student. Remember, the questions must be appropriate or they will be deleted and you will not have a second chance to redo and lose marks!!
Develop your object, i.e, Glog, Xtranormal, Animoto, or Prezi and a Wordle or other Word Shape for your Fisher River Cree Nation page. Upload the object to your page and design your page with an attractive title and other pictures. Be sure to include at least one link to an appropriate website.
You will have until this Friday end of class to finish any details on your student page, your Winnipeg page, questions for Charles Sinclair students, your Digital Citizenship movie and the Fisher River page. At that point, I will lock the pages and your marks are gone if the work is not done.

Assignment 10: Thursday and Friday, May 12 and 13, 2011

First I would like to compliment all of you who are working and doing your best in this collaborative project!! Thank you!!
Second: Those of you who are not up-to-date, this week is your last chance to get marks for the above assignments. Everyone--please review the above assignment details one more time to be sure that you have finished it all.
I am away at a two-day conference but will be checking the wiki each day for progress. If you have questions, please email me. It is important that you work to complete your assignments and stay focused.

Ok, now for today and tomorrow's work: Treaties - This is an INDIVIDUAL TASK
Please click on the Treaties page and find your name. Both classes (Mrs. Brown's and Mr. Keller's) are working on this page so be sure you find your name

Research the treaty assigned to you as follows: You may use the TRCM web page as well as any other sites you can find. I have linked TRCM on the Treaties page.
Where is it?
When was it negotiated and agreed upon? and maybe re-negotiated?
What are the details of the treaty? Who was there when it was signed? What were the terms?
How do treaties affect everyone?
Any other information that is relevant.

Now create a cool tech object to illustrate the information that you have found. You have learned to create various objects such as Prezis, Glogs, Animotos, Word Shapes, Podcasts, Movies.
You must use a tool that we have not learned in class. You may use more than one new tool if you want/need to be able to illustrate all of the information for your Treaty #. Here is a website that will provide inspiration!
Your object must include some text (not too much), a map clearly outlining the region, pictures, sound, and video if you can find one.
Check with the other people on your treaty number as to what kind of object they are making and then you make something else. If you are not in the same class as the other student(s), you have first choice so please check the page to see if something is uploaded already. DON'T MAKE THE SAME TYPE OF OBJECT AS SOMEONE ELSE ON YOUR PAGE!
Upload your object to the appropriate page. There will be several objects on each page as several students are working on each treaty.
